This blog is a lighthearted space where I can informally gather my thoughts around my creative process (which I'm still trying to develop). Currently interested in Freud's theory of The Uncanny in particular doubles, dolls and puppets and the theory of abjection especially the use of hair. This blog will consist of images, video, thoughts and perhaps even waffle around the subjects mentioned.
So... this is where i'm at so far. I have submitted a proposal alongside a presentation around the aforementioned research areas. I have also written an essay on the work The Night I Became a Doll by Alice Anderson (a big inspiration of mine). I am now currently devising a plan of research and practical sessions including workshop plans, finding research institutions and organising a research plan of action. Erm so yeah, thats about it for now, I think.
